Fan Buys Whitney Houston's Mansion for $1.5 Million
. Krauthamer, who was only in second grade when the house was built, told the real estate blog that he does not plan to turn it into a museum but will actually live there. He wants to give it a new paint job and add some new appliances so he can help return the home to "its original '80s glory." "The house in and of itself is absolutely stunning," he said. "Wooded acres, gated property, two-floor poolhouse, two Jacuzzis. The house is really an incredible home." Krauthamer also mentioned that the home reminds him of "the singer's true heart." "She got, obviously, some bad press at times, but one thing that she was was a very kind and generous person," Krauthamer said of the late singer, who passed away in 2012. "She took care of the people that were closest to her and that's something that's always stuck in my mind." more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
