Kip Moore Leads CMT On Tour Lineup
. "We've been on the road pretty much non-stop for the past four years playing as much as we can wherever we can," Moore said in a press release. "When we started out sometimes there would only be five people at a show, and seeing the crowds grow over the years is really humbling and encouraging. And now to be teaming up with CMT for a tour is a really exciting moment in my career. We'll definitely be playing lots of songs from the new album out on the road so it will be fun to test those out and see what the fans think." Radio.com caught up with Moore in April during the ACM Awards in Las Vegas where he spoke of his new single "Dirt Road" and his forthcoming album. "I grew up in a small Southern Baptist town, and the song is speaking of what that's like as a young kid and young teenager," he told Radio.com about "Dirt Road." "[Being] 12, 13 years old [and] trying to understand hellfire, damnation every single Sunday morning. Trying to process that is a tough thing, so that's where that song originated from, and I think there's going to be a lot of people who are going to connect with the song." more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
