(Radio.com) If Ed Sheeran's new song "Don't" tells us anything, it's that you don't want to cheat on this feisty redhead. In a new commercial for Beats By Dre, Sheeran reenacts the making of the Rick Rubin and Benny Blanco co-produced track off his upcoming album, X (out June 23) and gives fans a taste of the rather angry ode to a girl who broke his heart.

Sheeran locks himself away in a hotel room that will soon become a makeshift studio. With a little help from Dre's Beats Solo 2 headphones, which are "designed for sound, tuned for emotion," Sheeran eviscerates a girl who played him for a fool, singing, "I never intended to be next/But you didn't need to take him to bed, that's all."

Later over a perfectly crafted '90s hip-hop beat he sings, "If I show courtesy and respect to someone, I expect to receive it," and "When we're in the same hotel, and I'm downstairs at my party and you're upstairs doing that, that's disrespectful."

Seems like hanging out with Taylor Swift might be rubbing off on ol' Ed. Listen to a snippet of the track, which may or may not be about Ellie Goulding, here.
