Daft Punk Deux Art Show Opens

. (Radio.com) Daft Punk has inspired countless musicians over the years with the group's pioneering approach to dance music. Now the duo's inspirational ways have extended to artists of the visual variety.

"Daft Punk Deux" is the name of the art show that launched at San Francisco's Gauntlet Gallery this weekend (the opening reception took place on Saturday, May 31), featuring more than 60 original works from over 40 artists, including paintings, sculptures, screen prints and other mediums.Among the featured artists is Boneface, best known for his graphic work on the most recent Queens of the Stone Age album, �Like Clockwork.

As the show's title infers, this is actually the second time Gauntlet Gallery has hosted a Daft Punk art show, with the first exhibit going up last year. Considering the long lines to check out that show, expect a full house at this weekend's opening reception. more on this story
