Porter Robinson Releases New Song 'Flicker'
. Album track "Flicker" was an immediate standout, garnering multiple replays for its playful m�lange of computerized Japanese vocals, hip-hop beats and a haunting melody. This week (July 28), Robinson has shared the song with a new interview by way of stalwart fashion bible, Vogue. "I'm less interested in changing EDM and more interested in having a signature and a unique identity as an artist," Robinson told Vogue regarding his upcoming full-length debut. "I mean, I do have problems with the genre, and I think it needs to improve for its own sake. But my new music isn't a reaction or an intentional subversion of EDM. I just want to write what I think is cool without compromise." Worlds is set to hit retailers on Aug. 12, which will be followed by an extensive North American tour that kicks off on Aug. 28 in Vancouver, British Columbia, in Canada. Listen here.
