Drake Duets With Brian McKnight At ESPYs
. Wednesday night (July 16), the Views From the 6 rapper pulled out all the stops for the sports awards show. He read love poems about his basketball crush Skylar Duggins, who came out and rebuffed his advances by asking him to stop his craziness. "Crazy might be a little judgmental on your part," Drake said without missing a beat. Drake did a parody of his own song "Worst Behaviour" aimed at Donald Sterling and sang a song called "Honorable Mentions" that was for all the losers out there explaining, "real talent doesn't always win championships, like real music doesn't always win GRAMMYs" with a photo of Macklemore popping up on the screen behind him. We all know how Drizzy feels about Macklemore's Best Rap Album win. He later brought out Brian McKnight to croon alongside him on a track called "Side Pieces," about well, you guessed it, side pieces. He even promised to be that for Skylar Duggins as he used a lot of sports metaphors to talk about those girls who will just always be second best. Drake also did a performance of Frozen juggernaut "Let It Go" as boxer Manny Pacquiao. In a wig and fake goatee, Drake belts out the song in his best Filipino accent. He also manages to make a few pee jokes and a pretty good Floyd Mayweather joke. "Well, to me, it's warmer in July so I'm not really worried about the May weather." Watch it here.
