Ashley Monroe to Resume Tour Following Kidney Infection
. But after two nights in the hospital she's feeling better. "I'm finally feeling some relief after spending two nights in the hospital," Monroe said in a press release. "I'm very grateful to everyone for their prayers and understanding during this time." Monroe, who canceled her first show on Thursday after a doctor in Charlottesville told her not to perform that night, wrote a message to fans on her website later that evening: "My sweet fans, I have to cancel the rest of the shows for this run because of a severe kidney infection. This is very serious and I'm heading back to Nashville to go to the hospital. Thank you for understanding and please keep me in your prayers. I'm so sorry for the disappointment this will cause, but if I don't take care of this it could risk my life. I promise I will make it up to you all." Monroe will resume her tour schedule on July 18 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Complete dates for her remaining tour here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
