Red Hot Chili Peppers Have Not Released New Song
. While the song doesn't really sound like a serious Peppers song, the timing made sense, and some fans bought it and took to the Internet to announce the news. As it turns out, the sock-wearing, alternative funk-rock band has not released a new single. The song, called "Abracadabralifornia," is actually a parody tune created during a 2013 Comedy Bang! Bang! episode. While the song is a fake, it's very true that the Red Hot Chili Peppers will perform during the Super Bowl halftime show this Sunday, along with headliner Bruno Mars.
