. The annual event's 35th edition takes place in August 7-9 near Banbury, Oxfordshire, and tickets go on sale this Saturday, February 1. Fairport Convention themselves will close the festival as usual, with their ever-popular acoustic set opening proceedings. Hackett will deliver his Genesis Extended set, featuring tracks he didn't include on his award-winning Genesis Revisited II album. Other attractions include The Waterboys, Chas & Dave and Capercaillie, all making their first Cropredy appearances. The winner of BBC Radio 2′s annual Young Folk Award will also appear. More details.
