"What separates us from a lot of other dance music producers is that we come from a very different background, most dance music producers start out dj-ing and we didn't. We got into dj-ing long after we started producing," said Howard.

Their style of music and production is also a lot different from most other EDM producers or djs because of their process. "We grew up learning instruments. Like, I was playing bass guitar and Guy was playing drums. I think that's given us an entire different outlook on it. We write songs, conventionally written songs and produce them like dance music," said Howard.
