Stone Temple Pilots With Chester Bennington Cancel Concerts
. The organizers originally explained that the band had canceled their upcoming tour dates in order to work on their new album but the festival's website later removed the text about the album and replaced it with "scheduling conflicts." Soundwave originally posted the following message on their website about the cancelation, "Stone Temple Pilots regretfully cancel all upcoming shows. The recording of the new album has now gone beyond schedule and sadly the availability of the recording studio, engineers and the producer or lack thereof dictates that the band have had to cancel their upcoming engagements." The message was later updated and simply stated "Due to a scheduling conflict, STP w/ Chester Bennington regretfully has been forced to cancel all tour dates." The site did however add the following message from The Living End who will be taking over the slot. Billed as Chris Cheney's inner monologue, the message reads, "Oh crap there's cobwebs on my amp and my guitar strings are rusty. Shut up you idiot, quit you're whining and get your sh*t together cause TLE are now playing Soundwave 2014. "So Stand up, Tune up, and get on that stage and Rock the f***in' house...... will do! The Living End are proud to be a part of Soundwave 2014! BRING. IT. ON!!!!!" "
