According to a profile of producer Mark Bass in the Detroit Free Press (via NME), the frequent Eminem-associate "says he has also been mixing new material by the mercurial funk-pop giant Sly Stone with members of the original Family Stone band, along with new D12 tracks, including three with Eminem." Bass has worked with Eminem in the past, especially with his brother Jeff as The Bass Brothers.
