Joe Louis Walker Releasing 25th Album

(The Blues) Joe Louis Walker will release his 25th album Hornet's Nest on February 25th in North American and on February 24th in Europe via Alligator Records.

The eleven-track work includes nine original pieces and it's described as "equal parts rock'n'roll fire and blistering, passionate blues." It was performed by Walker and guitarist Rob McNeiley, bassist Tommy MacDonald, organist Reese Wynans and drummer Hambridge.

The follow-up to 2012's Hellfire was recorded in Nashville and produced by Hambridge, who's also recently worked with James Cotton, Buddy Guy and others. more on this story
