Steve Cropper, Kris Kristofferson, Dan Wilson Lead Grammy Concert

(Gibson) Music fans and the general public are being given the opportunity to attend a star-studded official Grammy week event. Steve Cropper, Kris Kristofferson, Dan Wilson and the Goo Goo Dolls' John Rzeznik are among the artists slated to perform at the 16th Annual Grammy Foundation Legacy Concert, to take place January 23 at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles. Tickets for the event are on sale now at a price of $45 per person.

Titled "A Star Is Born," the Legacy Concert "will explore the history and evolution of songwriting and celebrate the various and invaluable contributions of key players behind the music and their impact on the American cultural landscape," states the official Grammy Foundation website.

"The Grammy week concert promotes the Grammy Foundation's mission of recognizing and preserving our musical past, so that future generations can continue to benefit from an appreciation and understanding of those contributions."
