(Prog) Strangefish will play a surprise concert in May after a six-year silence, it's been confirmed. The Classic Rock Society have confirmed they'll host the event at the Wesley Centre, Maltby, on May 10. Support will come from Exhibit A.

Manchester symphonic prog outfit Strangefish announced in 2007 they'd "decided to suspend all activity for the foreseeable future" after an 18-year run in various forms.

They appeared the following year to play a tribute show for Radio Caroline's Rob Leighton, after which they said: "There is no further activity planned." more on this story
