Now Simon is set to be feted with a tribute concert at on March 31 at New York's Carnegie Hall with performances by the Civil Wars' Joy Williams, former Husker Du frontman Bob Mould, soul sensation Bettye LaVette and more. Also set for the tribute show are Allen Toussaint, Ben Sollee and a special collaboration between vocalist Madeleine Peyroux and guitarist Jon Herington (of Steely Dan fame). The show will be the tenth annual charity tribute hosted by City Winery owner Michael Dorf, who uses the money raised to help various music education programs.
