. Ferg's remix, which he's dubbed DTM Awards 14′, the New York rapper gets real, starting the track off by rapping, "When my daddy died/ I went through deep depression." Then Ferg, one of Radio.com's New Music to Know All-Stars in 2013, dedicates a special verse to Mama Ferg rapping, "Shout out to the ladyShe groomed me and raised me and tutored me daily." In fact, the whole song is a special dedication to his friends and family who have supported him since he was just a kid.
