Jeff Beck Working On 'Epic' New Album?

. (Gibson) Jeff Beck is reportedly working on a new album, according to a post on his website : "After taking a very short well earned break post his recent tour with Brian Wilson. Jeff has been spending most of his time with his new band (Rhonda Smith � Bass, Nicholas Meier � Guitar, Jonathan Joseph � Drums and Lizzie Ball � Violin) in the studio. We won't say too much at present. Suffice to say -Watch this space � It will be Epic!!!"

The album will be his first since Emotion & Commotion in 2010, which earned Beck a Best Pop Instrumental Performance Grammy for his cover of the Puccini aria "Nessun Dorma." Since the album is scheduled for a spring release, one can assume that recording and producing will be finished before Jeff Beck goes out on tour, starting April 7 in Tokyo.

As the posting says, Beck has been busy touring with Brian Wilson during the fall. He will also be appearing on Wilson's yet-to-be-named upcoming album that has "the flavor of Pet Sounds," according to Beck in an interview with USA Today. more on this story
