Gwen Stefani Launches New Clothing Line 'Design With Purpose'
. Now the "Hollaback Girl" singer has teamed up with renowned "denim expert" Michael Glasser to launch a new clothing line called DWP, i.e. "Design With Purpose," due in stores this spring. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 18-piece collection revolves around a "slouchy trouser" design made from the eco-friendly biodegradable fabric known as Tencel, which is derived from wood pulp cellulose and spun into a silky textile fiber. "What's so great about DWP for me is it's different from anything I've ever done, working in L.A. and having the factory right here," Stefani said of the collaboration, referring to the line being produced in Glasser's Vernon, Calif. factory. "With L.A.M.B., we have so many categories within the collection and you have different factories that do specific things, so you are a little detached�The actual designs are very simple because it's all about everyday wear.
