Allman told Rolling Stone that bassist Oteil Burbridge had left the band, saying "Oteil's not with us anymore. I don't know if he'll be back to the Beacon or not. He's gone with Zac Brown."

Burbridge released a statement on his website to clarify the situation. "Wow, what a surprise to wake up on the first day of 2014 to a wildfire in the rumor mill!," he wrote. "For the record�.
