US Olympian Gracie Gold Accepts Prom Invite

. (Extra) Olympic figure skater Gracie Gold joined "Extra's" Maria Menounos at Universal Studios Hollywood on Wednesday, where Maria asked Gracie about the viral video prom invitation she received from a high school student, Dyer Pettijohn, who surprised Gracie by showing up at the "Extra" set!

Dyer came out, got on one knee and presented Gracie with flowers. Gracie was shocked, "Oh my god." Dyer, "You melted my heart." Gracie, "Thank you so much!" Dyer, "Can I get a hug?" Gracie, "Absolutely"

After the two hugged it out Dyer asked Gracie in person if she would go to the prom with him, her response, "If it works out I would love to." Watch the video here.
