Kinks' Dave Davies Announce His First UK Show In 13 Years

(hennemusic) Kinks guitarist Dave Davies has announced his first UK show in 13 years. Davies has announced that he will play the Barbican in London on Friday, April 11.

Dave founded The Kinks with his brother Ray in London in 1964. The Kinks will mark their 50th anniversary this year with a new box set and a musical entitled "Sunny Afternoon."

Dave's brother, Ray, recently revealed that the band are also considering a reunion to mark the anniversary, saying, "It's as close as it's ever been to happening." more on this story
