Dierks Bentley Releases Dark 'Bourbon In Kentucky' Video
. "There ain't enough bourbon in Kentucky for me to forget you," he sings alongside images of himself drinking, standing against a backdrop of flames, sitting trapped in a car on the brink of drowning, and floating weightless in water. The track was first released last year as the initial single from his upcoming album Riser (out Feb. 25). In an interview with Rolling Stone, Bentley explained that when the song didn't take off the way he had hoped, he decided it was time to go back into the studio. "It's a pretty dark song," he told Rolling Stone. "I'm not afraid of trying things. It's a song I believe in, but it pushed the album release back about four months." The video paints this dark picture. Reminiscing about a relationship's end, Bentley is seen figuratively drowning the memories of a girl alone in his car, in his bedroom and in the ocean. "Once you have the best, nothing else will do," he sings. Watch the video here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
