Rolling Stones Rehearsed 60 Songs For 14 on Fire Tour
. Speaking with a United Arab Emirates radio station, guitarist Ronnie Wood said he and his band mates are pumped to take their songs to a new area. "It's excitement of the unknown," he said. "Who knows if they'd even know who we are there?" Well, chances are they do know the Stones, considering the concert is sold out. Wood said to expect a wide range of songs on this tour. "We just rehearsed in the last three or four days 60 songs, and we haven't stopped yet," Wood explained. "We're going to get a whole big cross-section and take the most fitting for the set list, and try and adapt it to new audiences and new territories and territories we haven't played in years." So, what about new music? That's up in the air. "I don't know -- we've got to get these gigs over first," Wood said. He added that vocalist Mick Jagger has been toying with the thought of releasing a collaborative album with some famous friends. "Sometimes we do duets with different rock artists over the world, and I think that's in the back of his mind, to make an album with some of the guests we have," he said. more on this story Gibson.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
