Rick Ross Channels Notorious B.I.G. On New Song
. On the track, "Nobody," which reuses the same beat and hook from Biggie's track off 2007′s Life After Death, Ross talks about planting decoys on his tour bus and eating sushi at Nobu while strapped up like an Afghan soldier. Since surviving a drive-by shooting last year, Ross can never be too careful. French Montana helps out with the hook, while Diddy-who's cited here as his '90s persona Puff Daddy-makes his voice heard by shouting like a boss. On the track, Diddy's pushing Ross to be all that he can be, specifically a "supreme being" who walks with Gods. No pressure. Ross' upcoming album, Mastermind, out March 4 on Def Jam, features production by Mike Will Made It and mixing by Diddy, along with guest spots from Jay Z, Future and many more.
