. He announced, "I'm not coming back at all." He then explained that he would be leaving the show to continue his music career and release a new album. "I don't want to wear out my welcome there," he explained. "I have so many other things I want to do. I haven't released an album in four years. I'm almost done with an album. Music is very important to me. I didn't mean to drop the bomb today." But CeeLo isn't completely leaving the world of TV or even NBC completely. "I'm going to continue my relationship with NBC," he said.
