Ashton last year released an EP entitled Fistful Of Blues, which followed well-received sixth LP Radiogram. He said of the album: "I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel - I want to carry on the guitar-playing tradition in the style of the people I've admired for decades, and be as close as possible to the form, whilst carving my own personal notch in it.
