In the lyrics, the "I See You" singer switched the concept of "chestnuts roasting on an open fire" to "peanuts boiling on an open fire," paying tribute to his father, who is a peanut farmer.

Bryan has a soft spot for Christmas songs, as a quick YouTube search comes up with the country singer performing "Run Run Rudolph" in the studio complete with a Santa Hat.
