Drake Shares His Love For BlackBerry

. (Radio.com) 2014 might as well be known as the Year of Celebrities Rejecting Smart Phones. Over the past 12 months, Rihanna has made the flip phone a trending accessory, Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour championed the throwback at the United States Open tennis tournament, Kim Kardashian has proudly shared her BlackBerry hoarding tendency and Scarlet Johansson, Kate Beckinsale and Bill de Blasio have also given cosigns to the antique phone.

To complete the trend as the year winds down to a close, Drake has come out as a Blackberry fan. Over the weekend, Drizzy shared his fondness for the proto-smart phone. The rapper instagrammed a picture of his device with the caption, "Thank you Blackberry!!! Still PING squad for life."

He didn't have to add a prayer hands emoji because that was already the background of his phone. Well, to be exact, it was the prayer hands sketch with the number 6 that has doubled as the artwork for Drake's SoundCloud singles this year like "0 to 100/ The Catch Up"--and is potentially a tattoo on the rapper's forearm.
