Jay Z & Beyonce Lose Mansion To Minecraft Designer

. (Radio.com) Beverly Hills, exclusive province of movie stars and reclusive directors? Not so much. These days, the neighborhood is clearly attracting a whole new clientele if the recent bidding war over a $70 million mansion is any indication.

Billboard reports that Jay Z and Beyonce were the first to tour a grandiose home in the area and reportedly made an offer. However, they were reportedly outbid by a man named Markus Persson, also known as the designer of the wildly popular videogame Minecraft. He recently sold his company, Mojang, for $2.5 billion.

According to the realtor, it's the most expensive home ever purchased in Beverly Hills. So what can you get with that kind of dough? Apparently, eight bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, an 18-seat movie theater, 10 Bentley Motors-chairs worth $56,000 each, glorious panoramic views and a huge wall of candy to consume at your leisure.
