French Montana and Harry Fraud Release 'The Appetizer'
. The recipe is simple: Harry Fraud sculpts female vocals and orchestral samples into towering production, while French Montana raps about drugs, money, sex and his lavish lifestyle. The intro comes by way of Max B, sampled on the phone from prison. From there the selections move through lush Lana Del Rey samples--'Poison," produced by Fraud as well as Adrian and The Mekanicz--to sweeping strings on 'Sweetest Thing." 'Playing In The Wing II" is classic Harry Fraud, in full chipmunk-soul mode. 'Popping pills, smoking dank, drinking lean too," raps Montana, celebrating joi de vivre while still bemoaning 'fake friends" and lost compatriots.
