But Katey Segal, wife of showrunner Kurt Sutter, had other plans. "She said, 'Do you want to act?' and I said, 'yeah, that would be amazing,'" Manson recalled. "That was earlier in the meeting, when I was sort of worried about my father because he was also ill and I was trying to cheer up my dad. This is before my mother had died. So I went to Ohio because my mother had died and I got the phone call that I was going to be on the show. I said, 'Dad, guess what, I'm going to be on the show. Guess what, I'm going to play the head of the Aryan Brotherhood. Guess what, I get paid for it. Guess what, I'm in every scene, every episode that I know of.'" Read more here.
