Lil Wayne Addresses Tha Carter V Album Delay

(Radio.com) After revealing that he and his new album have been in label purgatory, with Cash Money Records holding his latest album captive, Lil Wayne is remaining optimistic that all will be solved soon.

During his set at Vice's 20th anniversary party on Friday, the rapper took a moment to acknowledge the delay for Carter V, which was supposed to come out Dec. 9.

'I was supposed to drop my new album Dec. 9, but due to technical difficulties I'm f**ked up in a bad situation," Weezy told the audience. 'But I will be out of this soon and I do it for y'all. So put the motherf**kin' fives up for Carter V."�
