Helt took to the VMA stage Sunday night (August 24), delivering an unforgettable moment when he accepted on "behalf of 1.6 million runaways and homeless youth who are starving lost and scared right now� I know this because I am one of these people."

According to E! Online, Helt is currently subject to an arrest warrant in Salem, Oregon, for a probation violation stemming from previous charges of criminal trespassing and criminal mischief. Helt was also charged with burglary in 2010 in an attempted entry of an apartment.
