Previously Unreleased Photos of Elvis Presley In New Book
. The photographer, working in conjunction with online gallery for iconic photography Rock Paper Photo, has published several images of Elvis from this period for inclusion in his book Alfred Wertheimer: Elvis and the Birth of Rock and Roll. The book is a collector's edition with limited copies - in total, only 1,706 were produced, all numbered and signed by Wertheimer. The photographer first came in contact with Presley when he was assigned by RCA Records in 1956 to photograph Elvis. He worked with the then much lesser known singer, following him for 10 days over the following two years and shooting thousands of photographs. More including some of the photos here.
