Arcade Fire React To Deadmau5 Twitter Tirade
. The notoriously touchy Deadmau5 (known to his mom as Joel Zimmerman) took offense to Butler's onstage banter during Arcade Fire's headlining set at the first weekend of this year's Coachella festival, which included, "shout-out to all the bands still playing actual instruments at this festival." According to Consequence of Sound, Arcade Fire featured video images of Deadmau5 on an LCD screen while performing the encore number, "Normal Person," from the band's most recent album during a show in St. Louis last night (April 27). Among the song's lyrics include, "You know, I can't tell if I'm a normal person/It's true, I think I'm cool enough, but am I cruel enough?/Am I cruel enough for you?" The song also starts off with the age-old question: "Do you like rock 'n' roll music?" more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
