Kermit and Miss Piggy Go EDM In New Video

. (Radio.com) It's the Muppets like you've never seen (or heard) them before. As part of Disney's new remix album, DCONSTRUCTED, which features EDM versions of songs from their rich catalog of children's movies, Italian electronic act Shy Kidx has crafted a dubstep take on "The Muppet Show Theme" that borders on industrial music.

With a hard, grinding beat and menacing, distorted vocals chanting the theme's lyrics, the eye-popping music features famous Muppet characters like Kermit and Miss Piggy raving out in a psychedelic landscape rife with fractals and laser lights that could be too extreme for some younger viewers.

DCONSTRUCTED, which hit retailers yesterday (April 22) boasts remixes courtesy of such EDM titans as Avicii, Kaskade and Armin Van Buuren. The DJs and producers take on music from such Disney movies as Dumbo, The Incredibles, Monsters University and The Lion King. Watch the video here.
