Beyonce Collaborates With Boots Again on 'Dreams'
. Now, Bey is returning the favor by appearing on one of Boots' own releases. "Dreams", was released yesterday (April 22), features background vocals from the singer before she appears toward its midsection. "I've been dreaming of you," she repeats in a singsong voice over the tune's minimalist production, which features little more than distant piano and a slow, driving beat. That repeated line is a motif in the song; Boots himself also croons the line over and over in between silky smooth vocals on the verses. The song is the final track on Asher's mixtape and, according to Consequence of Sound, will help benefit Day One, a New York non-profit focused on teen dating violence issues. "I feel that protecting women from these horrible and unthinkable acts should take precedence in our society," Asher noted in a Facebook post. "I feel passionate about this because if more women knew that safe places existed from the turmoil they experience, it could possibly prevent these situations from occurring or reoccurring.
