Young Thug Channels Lil Wayne on New Track 'Chickens'
. In an interview with Complex earlier this year, Young Thug revealed he had recorded a few tracks with Kanye West. We're speculating to say it may be for the same project Evian Christ said he was producing beats for, but Young Thug did confirm exactly how he wowed West. "The fact that I was [making songs] so fast amazed him too, because he doesn't see a lot of people who rap like that," Young Thug said. "I don't really rap with a lot of people [because] everyone raps the same way. When I first heard he wanted to know who I was and do songs, I was smiling ear to ear like a clown." Last month, the rapper revealed he was planning on calling his debut album Carter VI, piggybacking off Lil Wayne's Tha Carter releases, as well as an upcoming collaboration album with Metro Boomin called Metro Thuggin, which is supposed to be released sometime this spring.
