Glen Campbell Moved to Alzheimer's Facility
. Earlier this week, People reported that Campbell has now moved into a facility to receive additional care. "He was moved to an Alzheimer's facility last week," People quotes a family friend as saying. "I'm not sure what the permanent plan is for him yet. We'll know more next week." In 2012, Campbell embarked on a national Goodbye Tour, in which he performed some of his best-known songs, including "Rhinestone Cowboy," "Southern Nights," "Wichita Lineman" and "Gentle on My Mind." He also mixed in newer content from such recent albums as Meet Glen Campbell and Ghost on the Canvas. Despite his Alzhemier's, during the performances Campbell proved to still be strong on vocals and especially guitar - and to be having a blast. "I still love making music," Campbell told People in 2011. "And I still love performing for my fans." more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
