Katie Armiger Serenades a Taco Bell in Texas
. "Gosh, I was actually at a Taco Bell somewhere in Texas," Armiger told Radio.com. "It was about to close and they played the song on the radio and I was like, 'Please turn it up. This is my song. My song!' And they totally didn't believe me and I had to sing it for the workers of Taco Bell and finally they turned it up and we started dancing around. It was great." It was the perfect spot to hear her first single, as Armiger confessed, "I like food." Another thing she likes: feeling protected and helping our nation's first responders, which she is doing with the help of her current single, "Safe." "It's all about feeling loved and protected and it's a really sweet love song," she said. "We've launched a national awareness campaign around it called Project Feel Safe. It's about giving back to first responders and thanking them because they're the people that make us feel that way." Check out a video here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
