Jhene Aiko Releases Comfort Inn Ending Video
. Car enthusiasts may cringe as Aiko does the deed- with her man's new lover still inside, no less. Jewelry lovers may not feel much better; after gathering up her former lover's gold chains, they, along with his clothes and even some expensive sneakers, are doused in gasoline and set ablaze. Before the bonfire, she sits in a different car, tears streaming down her face. "I was not the only one," she sings, the lyrics depicting a relationship that found its peak at a Comfort Inn, where they "made love like the world would have ended." In the end, she flashes back to happier times in a meadow among lilting acoustic guitar, Aiko asking, "If this was not love then please tell me what was it?" Watch the video here.
