Muse To Begin New Album Next Month
. In an interview with KROQ, a Radio.com station, at last weekend's Coachella, Wolstenholme and Howard said that the band should be getting down to business next month. "These are our last two gigs - tomorrow and the next weekend, and then we're completely done for touring this album," Howard told the station. "We're going to go back in May and start working on some new stuff, so I think we'll start recording it this year. If we can get something out this year, that would be great, but definitely next year." In addition to teasing new music, the band also talked about the influence of Nirvana on the trio's music, shortly after the '90s rock act's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last Thursday. "We all loved them," Howard said. "In many ways it was that kind of music and some other bands that kind of brought us together and we almost because friends because of that." more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
