Ed Sheeran Announces Arena Tour

(Radio.com) Folks who enjoyed Ed Sheeran's funky little jam session on last weekend's Saturday Night Live, take note: he just might be coming to your city with that and more.

The English singer-songwriter announced today (April 14) a North American headlining tour that'll kick off this summer. The 15-date jaunt, will be the first headlining arena tour he's undertaken, and will be this side of the Atlantic Ocean's first chances en masse to experience new music from Sheeran's LP X, which is out June 23.

The tour kicks off Aug. 22 at the WaMu Theater in Seattle and currently wraps up in Toronto on Sept. 18., though more dates are expected to be announced. Supporting acts have not been revealed. more on this story
