The release will feature the new tracks "Disconnect Me" and "Perpetual Notion". Fans won't have to wait until the end of the month to hear the first track as the band have released a lyric video for the song here.

The band plans to enter the recording studio in their hometown of Montreal with producer Chris Donaldson (Cryptopsy) later this month, with an eye towards release of the album this fall.

Guitarist Danny Marino had these comments, "Creating this album has been an amazing experience so far. Vicky has breathed new life into the song writing process and we are so excited to share these first 2 tracks with the world!

"The songs on this album represent a culmination of the past 10 years, as well as a new beginning for The Agonist. We're also thrilled to be back in the studio with our old friend and long-time engineer Chris Donaldson.
