Dolly Parton Plans Live TV Special For New Album Release

(Radio.com) Later this month, country fans will be able watch a Dolly Parton concert from the comfort of their own living room. It was announced yesterday (April 10) that the country singer will perform an hour-long show in Nashville that will be broadcast on QVC on April 27.

In promotion of her forthcoming studio album, Blue Smoke, due out May 13, Parton will be performing songs off the record as well as her classic hits. Blue Smoke is Parton's first album of new music since 2011′s Better Day.

In addition to her performance, Parton will be selling her album through QVC 20 days before its release date. The two-CD set containing Blue Smoke and Dolly Live will be available starting April 24. more on this story
