Carrie Underwood, Little Big Town Guest On Miranda Lambert Album
. Platinum, Blake Shelton's beau's fifth studio LP, is slated to include 16 total tracks, making the record Lambert's longest in terms of overall songs. The album may not feature a featured spot from Shelton like 2011′s Four the Record, but it does have its share of guest spots, Country Weekly reports. First there's Carrie Underwood, who guests on "Somethin' Bad," a duet penned by Chris DeStefano, Priscilla Renea and Brett James, while the guys and gals of Little Big Town jump on "Smokin' and Drinkin,'" which was written by Luke Laird and Shane McAnally, two of the driving forces behind Kacey Musgraves' breakout Same Trailer Different Park, along with past Lambert collaborator Natalie Hemby. Finally, the Time Jumpers, a Nashville Western swing ensemble, throws some weight behind "All That's Left." Lambert herself contributed songwriting credits to eight of the 16 songs, the highest percentage since she wrote 11 of the 15 tunes on 2009′s Revolution. Fellow Pistol Annie Ashley Monroe also contributed to two lyrics: "Holding On to You" and "Another Sunday in the South." more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
