Avicii Delays American Tour Launch For Health Reasons
. The tour, in support of his latest album, True, was originally set to kick off in Boston this Thursday, April 10, at Boston's TD Garden. According to Boston's Mix 104.7 (a Radio.com station), that show has been rescheduled for June 25. Tickets purchased for the April event will be honored at the new June date. Boston isn't the only city that will have to wait for its dose of live Avicii. The "Wake Me Up" producer also had to pull out of a show in Bahrain this past weekend connected to the Formula 1 World Championship auto race, as well as another gig in Dubai. Avicii (born Tim Bergling) has been keeping fans abreast of his recovery via Twitter, revealing that he also had a ruptured appendix that was removed along with his gall bladder during surgery.
