In a statement, Mahone thanked his fans, writing, "This is for my Mahomies. Thank you for supporting me and sticking with me all this time. I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate my birthday than to be able to announce new music and a huge tour for all you guys!"

Mahone has already given fans a first taste of the upcoming record with the single, "Mmm Yeah" featuring Pitbull, but it's also been reported that the pop star spent some time in the studio with Lady Gaga's right hand man, RedOne and Swedish producer, Max Martin, who's previously worked his pop magic with Katy Perry and Taylor Swift.
