Drake Releases Second New Song This Week
. On the track, which was produced by PARTYNEXTDOOR and sounds like a cast-off from Drake's last album, Nothing Was The Same-no surprise, being that it features production from frequent collaborator Noah "40" Shebib-he talks about having too much pride for his own good. But really he's dedicating his words to one particular girl he's had a falling out with in recent years. In true Drake fashion though, he wants her to realize she's too good for the guy she's with and let him come through, rapping, "He's not holding you down/He's holding you back right now." This new song may sound a bit familiar to true Drizzy fans. The rapper debuted the track last month at a show in Birmingham, England. Listen to the studio version of "Days In The East" here.
